God Moves In a Mysterious Way by Aletheia Burney

Christadelphian Hymn Book: Hymn 142

Words: William Cowper (1731–1800)

Music, Vocals, Piano: Aletheia

Instruments and Recording: Timon

God moves in a mysterious way

His wonders to perform;

He plants His footsteps in the sea,

And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines

Of never-failing skill,

He treasures up His bright designs,

And He works His sov’reign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,

For the clouds you so much dread

They are big with mercy, and will break

In blessings down on your head.
